About me

Hey there! I'm Gabi Flores, and I'm thrilled to share a bit about my journey in holistic wellness with you.  My passion for what  healing could mean led me to study under renowned teachers like Pichet and Khun Ni , where I mastered advanced techniques for deep listening and connection.

My teacher Pichet always emphasized going with the heart. He opened the door to help me stop letting my head create a non-stop helicopter of thoughts but to connect all the dots through the heart. Mind. Body. Heart. Creating a language to talk to each other.

I also feel one of the highlights of my career was being part of the Trauma retreat  with the esteemed Dr. Bessel. This experience equipped me with invaluable skills to support individuals on their journey, fostering resilience and empowerment through yoga and meditation practices.

As a certified yoga teacher with the Yoga Alliance, I've had the privilege of guiding students through authentic practices both in-person and remotely via platforms like Zoom. From teaching weekly classes for all skill levels to co-hosting immersive yoga retreats, I've witnessed the profound impact of yoga on physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

Continuous learning has been a cornerstone of my path. I've immersed myself in various modalities, from Qi Gong to Shiatsu, seeking to deepen my understanding of the human body and energy systems. My ongoing education in Chiang Mai with Marissa Newell has been instrumental in honing my skills in internal alchemy and energy work.

Beyond technical training, my journey has been enriched by experiences like the Yoga Teachers Training with Jesse Barlow, the  International Couscous Festival in San Vito lo Capo and the Yoga & Ayurveda Kerala retreat with Ingy Ganga. These encounters have broadened my perspective and reinforced my commitment to creating inclusive spaces for healing and growth.

When I read “In Love with the World” from Rinpoche Yongey Mingyur, I realized my meditation practice should also be much simpler and less “driven” than it was. Christopher Wallis from Tantrika helped me recognize that we’re all pretty much perfect as we are and don’t need to change as much as we think, or are told to think. Douglas Brooks reminds me of the constant invitation that is offered to connect, to ourselves, to others. Tara Brach helped me embrace myself with total acceptance. Rosemary Wallace confirmed to me that the most strong healing instrument is honest deep listening, and last but not least, Marissa Newell invited me to connect with the infinite forces that live in this universe and are available for us.

This embodiment is a unique book to read and a unique book to write. When you think you figure it out, life shows that everything is constantly rewritten, so the inner work is constant. It's not a one-time job. Our inner nature requires gentle loving care like an interior garden — it needs the elements to grow and flourish: WATER, SUN, LOVE, PEACE of MIND.

I'm not here to tell anyone how to do things; I'm not here to fix anyone. I'm merely here to support your self-process, share the wisdom I have gleaned on the road of life, share my practice, and offer some practical tools on how to take care of our gardens together.

With Love, Gabi.
